Colores ConPartidos

FUNDACIÓN EDDY

Exposing politicians' true colours to bring ours back home.

To speak out against political disputes fuelling hostility towards the LGBTIQ+ community in Spain, leading to rainbow symbolism’s erasure from the country's public spaces during Pride celebrations, Fundación Eddy, shelter for at-risk discriminated youth, used the unique opportunity of Pride month and the general elections coinciding to create a countermovement to hold complicit politicians accountable:

Creating a new Pride flag by repurposing political parties' posters plastered all over Spain's cities, into a hand-crafted rainbow collage. Turning messages of hate into a symbol of love and filling the streets with rainbows again, while serving as a protest sign urging the public to vote with queer rights in mind.

Beside gaining widespread (govt.) support, the flag mobilised a social movement, raised global awareness of Eddy’s mission and raised record-high donations, ensuring continued support for LGBTIQ+ youths. Soon after, a queer-friendly government was elected.
